SAN MARCO .
"San Marco" and "Piazza San Marco", is considered the center of Venice, the "District" Top of Venice, a very commercial area, with clothing and souvenir shops, restaurants, churches, museums, hotels, the most chic and noble of Venice.
I went down with the public boat stop San Zaccaria, before you can admire the fabulous and historic "Hotel Danieli" and 300 meters on the left, the Bridge of Sighs “ Ponte dei Sospiri “ . Revenue in Piazza San Marco, on your right is the "Palazzo Ducale", "The Basilica of San Marco", "Clock Tower" and the famous "Campanile di San Marco."
Sant 'Elena is only 7 minutes by public boat or walking for only 12 minutes, along the Riva degli Schiavoni, passing the "arsenal" and "San Zaccaria", aiming for the fabulous show that will offer the landscape and the Venetian lagoon.
